A little girl trapped in a void where the only thing that exists are things touched by light - and the only light is a lightbulb that lights one room in her house. It’s very controlling and an issue is wondering whether the lightbulb is actually alive or not. One day an acorn falls in her yard, and it is glowing, which lights up a bit of her yard. She decides that maybe there is more out there than just what the lightbulb has shown her. She plots an escape and fights mind games, learning what the acorns really are and dealing with what the void actually is and why it’s there. It’s psychological horror and self-discovery, overcoming abuse and forging your own path.
"If there is light, then it exists, but if the light turns off... I'm not sure what happens. All I know is that some things are gone forever when the light goes out. That's why I need to keep the lightbulb happy. What if she turns off and I stop existing forever?" -Proxy
